By accessing or using CT Caregiver ("the Platform", "our Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform.

CT Caregiver is an online job platform connecting caregivers with healthcare employment opportunities across Connecticut. We facilitate job searches, applications, and connections between job seekers and employers in the caregiver and healthcare industry.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept all responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

User Responsibilities

As a user of our Platform, you agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not transmit any viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile and applications

Job Applications and Employment

CT Caregiver serves as a platform to connect job seekers with employers. We do not guarantee job placement, employment, or specific outcomes. All employment decisions, including hiring, compensation, and terms of employment, are made solely by the employers. We are not responsible for the accuracy of job postings or the conduct of employers or job seekers.

Content and Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CT Caregiver and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

By uploading content (resumes, profile information, etc.) to the Platform, you grant us a license to use, display, and share that content for the purposes of providing our services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties of non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CT Caregiver shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

In no event shall our liability exceed the amount actually paid by you through the Service in the past twelve months, or one hundred dollars ($100 USD), whichever is greater.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns or disputes about the Service, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. We will work in good faith to resolve any disputes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
